This session will focus on how to foster success through positive relationships with students and each other, and how creating belonging can enhance student ownership in their education process. We will examine how those relationships improve the development of SEL competencies among students and staff. The session will also provide simple, tangible strategies and resources to use to help incorporate the SEL competencies into your classroom. The session will also discuss the role identity and values play in students developing a sense of purpose in school.
