In this session we will cover: 1) An overview of the McKinney-Vento Act (legislation that helps to support students experiencing homelessness and/or housing insecurity), 2) Background, statistics, and case studies on trends of M-V Act eligible students in Clarence, 3) Ways to help identify students and families who might be in need, and the point-people within the district that information should be triaged to, 4) Strategies and tips for working with students who might be McKinney-Vento Act eligible and/or experiencing housing insecurity, and 5) Q and A
